Open an image editing program (Microsoft Paint, GIMP, Photoshop, and PaintShop Pro will all work). Open a new image and press CTRL + V to paste the screenshot. With newer devices, hold the Power/Lock button and the Volume Down button simultaneously for about 2 seconds. If you have an earlier version, try the Home button in place of the Volume. Once you release, you’ll see your phone take the screenshot. The screenshot will be saved to your phone’s Photo Library for you to use.
